Alumina powder is a widely used industrial functional bulk material, commonly applied in dental cement production, functional ceramics, paint fillers, mordants, adsorbents, chromatography, and other chemical processes. When used in these applications, alumina powder must remain individually dispersed. If the powder forms agglomerates, its performance as a dispersant, filler, or functional additive will be significantly reduced.

In the chemical industry, the fineness of alumina powder is usually as high as 200 mesh or 325 mesh, and the requirement is single-particle dispersion without caking. Whether for commercial sale or for industrial use, achieving high purity and stable particle size distribution is essential to ensure product value and performance. For fine, light, and high-mesh materials, the most effective screening solution is the ultrasonic vibrating screen (also known as ultrasonic sieve machine for alumina powder).

Mesh Size of Alumina Powder Ultrasonic Vibrating Screen

The ultrasonic vibrating screen for alumina powder can reach a maximum mesh size of 600 mesh, meeting most industrial screening requirements (such as 60 mesh, 100 mesh, 140 mesh, 150 mesh, 200 mesh, 325 mesh, etc.). It can be designed with 1–5 layers of screens, allowing the simultaneous processing of multiple mesh specifications of alumina powder.

Advantages of Using Ultrasonic Vibrating Screen for Alumina Powder

  1. High efficiency & large capacity – High-frequency, low-amplitude vibration ensures alumina powder passes through the mesh quickly, with a screening output 2–5 times higher than conventional sieves.

  2. Anti-clogging performance – The 38 kHz ultrasonic energy breaks down false agglomerates formed during grinding or long-term storage, improving sieving accuracy and yield.

  3. Self-cleaning system – The ultrasonic wave keeps alumina powder in a semi-suspended state, effectively acting as a mesh cleaning device, preventing screen blinding.

  4. Low dust & clean operation – Fast screening with minimal dust, even in open-screen operation, reducing material loss and environmental pollution.

Applications of Ultrasonic Vibrating Screens

Ultrasonic vibrating screens are widely applied across industries such as food, paper-making, mining, chemical, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, and environmental protection. They can process powder, granules, and slurry materials. Typical materials include:

  • Metal powders: silicon carbide, alloy powder, molybdenum powder, stainless steel powder, tungsten powder, nickel powder, cobalt powder.

  • Chemical powders: powder coatings, quartz powder, dimethylketone powder, maltol, electromagnetic powder, negative electrode materials, laser powder.

  • Food & pharma: soybean powder, herbal extracts, liquid medicine, starch.

  • Environmental & industrial: waste oil, recycled materials, fine ceramics, alumina powder.

The ultrasonic vibrating screen can be used in both large-scale production lines and small workshops, making it a versatile solution for fine powder sieving and high-precision screening requirements.
